Beth + Dave | Summer Lovin' at The Overlook Grill in Kent, Ohio

Dave and Beth. I don’t even know where to begin! When I met this sweet couple, I knew we were a match immediately. They got engaged in the winter and wanted a late summer/early fall wedding. Beth asked if I thought they were crazy. My answer: Nope. Let’s Do This!

Portage Lakes has a special spot in each of our hearts so we headed to the state park for some fun, then out onto their boat. I love when I have an opportunity to take the drone out to get some one-of-a-kind photos, too. We ended our day with lunch and drinks on the lake! Oh, and swapping home-made spaghetti sauce recipes!

Their Big Day was at The Overlook Grill in Kent, Ohio. Easily in my top 5 for venues. Their bridal suite is one of my favorites with giant windows and plenty of space to get creative and have fun! Plus, the food is amazing!

This happy couple jam-packed their wedding day with special moments. That included grandma as the flower girl and a final kiss to each of their mothers before their First Kiss as Husband + Wife. Each of these things show just how important family is to this amazing couple.

This was such a hilarious bridal party! The party started when we walked in the door, and I’m sure lasted long after we left the reception. My favorite time of the day was individual bridal party portraits. We had plenty of time to have fun and get some beautiful, creative shots. The joy was overflowing with this group, and we giggled the majority of the day!

Beth + Dave have the perfect balance of humor and tenderness. We would have a beautiful, serious moment then someone would make a silly face or goofy comment and we’d devolve into giggles again. I have hope that they’ll keep this quality through everything life throws them.

The party. I don’t know that I’ve ever shared photos of the reception entrance but these are just too perfect. Cute kids with dance moves, a money machine. This one will be hard to top!
